a participatory project co-conceived with Sophie Conroy and co-created with Luca Cinquemani, Elena Corradi, Yolanda Difere, Maurizio Erosy, Yolenn Farges, Claudio Gulli, Clément Imuere, Louise Kojia, Griogio Mega, Dominik Müller, Aramis Navarro, Massimo Valsecchi, and Iris Winkelmeyer.

 

Palazzo Butera, Palermo, SICILY

It was carried out in three stages, all with the same goal: to foster encounters with passersby in Palermo through an artistic creation. First, at Monte Pellegrino, we printed various plants onto linen and cotton fabrics found at the Mercato di Ballaro. Then, we repeated the process on the waterfront. Finally, we organized a sewing workshop at Palazzo Butera where everyone could sew together a piece of dyed fabric using grass threads. We thus co-created a symbolic map of Palermo.
