Héloïse Thiburce is a French visual artist, born in 1998 in Les Sables d'Olonne. In 2020, she obtained a double Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Art History with honors at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO) in Angers. In 2021, she was admitted in exchange program to San Francisco State University to study Cultural Studies. In 2022, she graduated with honors from a Master's degree in Contemporary Art and Humanities (MA) at the University of Paris 8; her master thesis dealt with the fragility of the domestic through socio-historical contexts associated with plant colonization. She graduated with honors from a MFA at the Fine Arts School "L'École Supérieure d'Art La Réunion" (ESAR), focusing on the place of memory in the landscape. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on the fragility of the habitat. Her practice is articulated around textile sculpture, in situ installation and drawing.
EDUCATION
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Fine Arts under the joint supervision of the Université Paris 8 and the Université de la Réunion. Receiving a doctoral funding from La Région Réunion
